RECYCLING home contents first

Over 15+ years experience.
Emergency Services professionals.
Committed to reducing waste and minimising landfill.

Melbourne Property Cleanup provides responsible recycling and waste disposal as part of our complete property clearance services.

Rather than treating everything left in a property as rubbish, we sort and separate contents to identify what can be reused, donated or recycled before disposal is considered.

Whether it's a deceased estate, hoarding home or a commercial space, our aim is to find the most appropriate outcome for the contents of each property while reducing unnecessary waste.

Property clearances can involve a lifetime of accumulated belongings fit for recycling, including glass, plastics, paper, cardboard, metal, timber, electronics, food, and construction materials.

Our team of experienced emergency service workers will sort, remove and transport items as part of the clearance process, helping reduce the amount of usable material unnecessarily sent to landfill.

A Responsible Approach to Property Clearance

Resell

Furniture, antiques, jewellery, artwork, collectables and other items with potential resale value can be identified and separated. We can also facilitate the appraisal, sale and transportation of valuables with auction houses, antique dealers and specialist buyers.

Donate

Clothing, furniture, household goods and other usable belongings may be suitable for donation rather than disposal. Through our donations service, we work with multiple charity and community organisations to help re-home suitable items where possible.

Recycle

We separate suitable materials and direct them to appropriate recycling facilities rather than treating everything as general waste. Suitable items include scrap metal, paper and books, white goods, appliances, e-waste, electrical equipment, batteries, cardboard and paper and timber.

Responsible Disposal

Once all suitable items have been identified and categorised, all remaining rubbish is removed responsibly and transported to an appropriate waste facility as part of our property clearance process.

OUR MISSION TO MINIMISE WASTE AND REDUCE LANDFILL

We are proud to partner with not-for-profit and resale organisations across Melbourne as part of our commitment to reduce landfill, support communities and positively impact the environment.

Melbourne Property Cleanup Customer Reviews

“I cannot speak highly enough of Kristjan and his crew. They were very professional, trustworthy and compassionate in our dealings with them. We were so embarrassed by the state of the house and garden left by my sister, who has been diagnosed with dementia.

Kristjan came in without judgement, and transformed the place in no time… it was expertly cleaned, all in less than a day. We were blown away by their work.”

“What a difference two days make !!!!

We engaged Kristjan and the team to clean my Aunts horrendous hoarder home. Job was completed within two days despite poor inner suburban street access.

We could not be any happier with the services provided and as such would thoroughly recommend MPC.”

“MPC were fantastic throughout – quick to respond and quote, explained clearly, listened and helped us immensely in working through a complex and difficult time cleaning out our Mum’s house.

Then on the day, efficient, good-humoured, careful, thorough, and went the extra mile. Recommend them unconditionally.”

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Used MPC’s services this week and am very impressed.
Super responsive and communicative. Made the process very simple at our end.
The price was very reasonable. Some of the quotes received from others were astronomical. They are honest, efficient and every member of the team that I met was extremely polite and respectful. They get in and get the job done.
Highly recommend!
